Experience

Experience

Secure connectivity becomes difficult when networks, security, cloud, suppliers and internal teams all depend on each other. Q7 brings experience from environments where those boundaries have to work in practice.

Start with an assessment

Situations we know

The difficult part is rarely one technology. It is making networks, security, cloud, suppliers and internal teams work together as the environment keeps changing.

Multi-site connectivity

Locations, users, Internet access and cloud services depend on reliable connectivity across different providers, technologies and contracts.

SD-WAN and SASE

Implementation and program experience with secure connectivity architectures, including SD-WAN and SASE in distributed organizations.

Multiple suppliers

Telcos, security vendors, service providers and internal IT each own part of the environment, while incidents and changes cross those boundaries.

Managed service models

Operational models around connectivity, monitoring, service management, supplier coordination, escalation and customer support.

Regulated environments

Organizations where security, operational control, documentation and evidence need to remain manageable alongside day-to-day IT operations.

Changing security boundaries

Cloud, SaaS and AI use continue to change where company data goes and how users access it. Connectivity, identity, security policy and supplier responsibilities increasingly need to work together.

What that experience means for your environment

Technology is only part of the problem. In practice, many connectivity and security issues are also questions of ownership, implementation and operational responsibility.

See where ownership breaks down

Understand which issues belong to technology, which belong to suppliers and where responsibility currently falls back to your own team.

Change what needs changing

Separate genuine weaknesses from technology and suppliers that can remain in place, rather than assuming the complete environment needs replacing.

Think beyond go-live

Include monitoring, escalation, supplier coordination, reporting and operational ownership in the design rather than dealing with them afterwards.

Where this is most relevant

Experience matters most when it resembles the environment you are dealing with.

Multiple sites or distributed users.

Several connectivity or security suppliers.

Hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.

Manufacturing and industrial operations.

Life sciences and compliance-sensitive organizations.

Limited internal network or security capacity.

Start with the environment you already have

You do not need to decide on a new network, supplier or managed service first.

The Secure Connectivity Control Assessment gives you a structured view of the current environment, where ownership or complexity is creating problems, and what should be addressed first.
