Managed Service

Managed Secure Connectivity

One managed service for the connectivity and security environment your team currently has to coordinate itself. Q7 brings sites, Internet access, secure connectivity, policy, monitoring and supplier coordination into one operational model.

Start with an assessment

You should not have to manage the boundaries between suppliers

A connectivity problem may involve the Internet provider, network platform, security policy, cloud application and local site. Each supplier can be managing its own part while your own team is still left finding the answer.

Q7’s role is to follow issues across the managed environment, coordinate the parties involved and keep responsibility from falling back between the gaps.

You see one service. We manage the moving parts.

What Q7 takes responsibility for

The service is organized around three practical responsibilities.

Keep it working

Monitor the agreed connectivity environment, follow availability and performance issues, coordinate provider escalation and help keep sites, users and cloud services connected.

Keep it secure

Manage agreed connectivity and security policies, segmentation and approved configuration changes within the managed environment, with better consistency and visibility across locations.

Keep it moving

Coordinate suppliers, follow incidents and changes, escalate where required and provide service reporting so operational issues continue to move toward resolution.

What changes for your team

The goal is not another layer of technology. It is less operational fragmentation.

Less time spent chasing different suppliers.

One place to escalate managed connectivity issues.

Better visibility across sites and services.

More consistent connectivity and security policy.

Clearer service and management reporting.

Less day-to-day coordination for internal IT.

Clear responsibilities

A managed service works best when it is clear what Q7 manages and what remains with the customer or another specialist provider.

Managed by Q7

Within the agreed service scope, Q7 manages relevant secure connectivity, monitoring, provider escalation, approved configuration changes, service coordination and reporting.

Customer or separately agreed

Local hands-on IT support, endpoint support, internal cabling, application support, SOC/MDR, threat hunting, endpoint remediation and security incident response remain outside the standard service unless expressly agreed.

How you move into the service

1. Understand where you are

Start with the current sites, suppliers, connectivity, policies, dependencies and operational issues rather than assuming a new architecture is required.

2. Start where it makes sense

Introduce a controlled first scope or pilot where better ownership or managed connectivity is most likely to make a practical difference.

3. Extend when there is a reason

Add sites, services or responsibilities when the operational and business case is clear rather than forcing a large migration from the start.

Work with what makes sense to keep

Your existing environment is the starting point. Existing circuits, suppliers and technology do not need to be replaced simply because Q7 takes responsibility for the managed service.

Where existing components work well, they may remain in place. Where they create unnecessary cost, risk, operational workload or technical limitations, there may be a reason to change them.

The objective is not a rip-and-replace programme. It is a secure connectivity environment that becomes easier to operate and easier to understand.

Powered by Teldat. Delivered by Q7.

Teldat provides the underlying SD-WAN/SASE technology platform used for the managed secure connectivity service.

Q7 provides the customer-facing operational model around it: assessment, implementation coordination, monitoring, supplier coordination, service management and reporting.

The technology provides the capabilities. Q7 turns those capabilities into a service the customer can operate through one clear relationship.

Start with the environment you already have

You do not need to decide on a new network or managed service first.

The Secure Connectivity Control Assessment shows where the current model works, where ownership or complexity is creating problems and whether managed secure connectivity would improve the situation.
